A Brand New Day
I did not please the man of the house today. He stormed off ~ I had not arranged all of the arrangements according to the plans in his mind. I did not force my oldest - my first baby boy - my 6 year old old "To get in the car this instant". What a wonder - after originally planning to go visit Philly with Daddy - he changed his mind when dearest daddy turned into a stark raving maniac. " I think I want to stay home with Mommy". "Well!!!", Yells the big bad wolf (the big bad wolf is actually an adult child with ocd, a personality disorder, depression, and some form of aspbergers syndrome) "What is happening? Aren't you going to help me here? Aren't you going to back me up????" " I believe you heard the boy", said I. The sad part is he actually wanted to go spend the day with his daddy just not with the big bad wolf. Well, who can blame him. Smart boy. We had fun - me and my two boys. Playground, hoover disc in the tree, card games, lights in the park, muffins and starbucks, disney movies, hugs, bath, bill cosby tapes, story time in bed. I love my little boys so much - I just don't love the adult one anymore. So i'll move on and begin a brand new day.

You have such a beautiful heart and you are such a good mother. Your boys are so fortunate to have landed with you. They will have a hard time understanding how their Daddy can be Daddy and Mr. Big Bad all at the same time -- I know they have a hard time now and I am sure that it won't get easier when they get older. Because of you, their constant good mommy who can make any situation bearable, they will get to be the compassionate, caring, funny boys that they were born to be.
I am so glad that I happened into your family.
